hi, if anyone has had the same experience, i have a motoG phone which is good for what i use it for.

however i tried to transfer some music from windows media player on my laptop via a USB cable, but now i can't find the music on my phone.

anyone got any idea on where the music has been stored on the phone and how i can access it?

I can't answer your question directly, but these two ideas may help you:

1) Install VLC if you haven't already:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.videolan.vlc&hl=en

Its free and safe. It can index the music on your device and might show you where your music is.

If that doesn't work, you can:

2) Install ES File Explorer if you haven't already:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop&hl=en

And use it to explore your device

This program is great for finding larger files (like videos or some music collections)
