I grew up on the beaches of Florida.....on the Gulf Coast....and I so miss it. The beach is my bliss.

Highlight was my daughter coming over from the States :)
Saw my son more than usual during summer too.
And I've done 3 nice really workshops.
No beach. I don't care much for the beach, even though it's almost in my backyard.

It was a fun summer for me & my kids. Swam in the pool, went to several different beaches, swam in an ice cold spring, caught lots of fish, went to see a dam, rode jet ski, went boating and kayaking, went to a movie, made lots of campfires to roast marshmallows and make smores, went to the water park, sightseeing, walks down trails, ate dinner with my children at the end of dock as the sun set.

Can't wait for Autumn, festivals, fairs and trick or treating. And more fishing and campfires!

well in Michigan anyhow first snowflakes start flitting around in air around Halloween ( October 31) but those will melt by time they hit ground
by Thanksgiving ( end of November) we usually have a dusting at least on ground and by Christmas we usually have a foot or so depending on year.

what was the question..what did I do this summer
graduated in May and moved end of June
ran around looking for work
got settled

what did I do that was fun..uhhhhh..did I do anything fun..hmmmgrumble noway

Having the kid tell me more than once he was *kinda* homesick during his summer semester at school... Two of his roommates graduated and he had nobody to talk to... *snort*

The kid also invited me to a home football game and said if I wanted to spend the night, I could sleep on the broken couch... *gigglesnorting*

A great summer for me to, the daughter and her family visited from Australia. We all had a few days holiday in London visiting the tourist sites with the grandkids, Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, Westminster, The London Eye, Hyde Park, and more, really enjoyed ourselves. Lots of Happy Memories. They have had some Summer here in the UK and have now returned home to Australia and are about to start another Summer!

The best thing this summer, seeing my niece come back home after she spent 6 weeks in California. flowerforyou  flowerforyou

She gave me the biggest hug and kiss, it was lovely. We didn't want to let go of each other. We had missed each other so much. Im glad she's back home and so is she.
