I am not a racist n I hate racism. it does not matter where u r from n what skin colour u have.what matters is love n unity.I have seen ppl mistreat black/white ppl jux bcos of his or her race.it is not fair cos we r all God's creations n we r all a big family.I give love to everyone regardless of ur gender,race or religion.it is abt time we stop this racism n love one another like we r created to do...no one was/is born to be racist or hate,its jux something u pick somewhere n practice..I am proudly a bbw black queen n I'll stand tall wherever I find myself n I will love anyone I come across regardless of ur race,religion n gender..in the end,we r all going 6ft down n we will decay.one love...

You post this in the dating & Relationship section, so I'm answering mainly that aspect of your question.
Why do people care about it: because it does make a difference maybe? People from different races (and thus often different colour, but NOT always!!!) have a different cultural background. Sometimes that background is not compatible or difficult to live with, it can cause all kinds of issues. So choosing to not go for such a partner (or friends even) is not racist, there's nothing wrong with it. If you don't match, you don't match. You can still love them as a human being, just that you don't want them for a friend or partner or whatever. So what? We all have freedom of choice. That includes white people as well. Why do people obsess about it (if they do at all): Maybe because it's forced upon us and thus there's no freedom of choice there? Government ram different cultures down our throats, whether we like it or not, whether it is compatible or not. People generally don't react agreeable when things get rammed down their throats ... |

 So you decided to stay, a woman's perogative to change her mind. You will find on the forums people have preferences, not everyone connects as easily as we wish. Few are rascist and culture matures because of communication difficulties. So chill, like attracts like and the world is not a 'fairy tale' of unity as most wish for and some do not wish for. But we try and kudos to everyone for that. |

when you go to the store hungry for an apple , are you happy with an orange ? its still a fruit and no of course you are not, you want an apple people want what they want maybe they had a bad time with someone of a color or race and that tossed them off the idea of going there again or reminds them of that person the reasons are endless really or maybe they are allergic to mexican food so they stay away from mexacan's why do people do any thing they do cause they can or they want too <shrug> |

In all the years I have been out here I have seen people Upset because some are attracted to heavy people, some attracted to skinny people, Different Religions Different cultures, Different races.. The only time I ever think about any of these things is when I come out onto the forums. Myself I don't try to worry about it because people are gonna believe what they want to believe.
