I have this one guy, we've been chatting for days and just last as we chat one of his replies was wrong out of the topic. then I realized he has someone else also. so I was thinking if I should stop communicating with him.?

advice or opinion will be much appreciated. :)

For all I know he started talking to someone while waiting for your email responses.

For all I know he thought you asked him if he was dating someone else, or had a girlfriend, or was married, and he was only emailing the other person, hadn't met or anything, possibly just started emailing them 4 minutes before he sent you the wrong response.

You don't say what he wrote.


Problem with this is it's easy to take your insecurities as your instincts, especially online when you are faced with the realization you don't have any real feedback, only black and white text, to base an opinion on.

this is why i like meeting in person. i knoew a guy that had 3 diff girl friends. i ask how he kept them straight. he said he just used the same pet name for all of them.

This is what made him be in the wrong.

When we are in the initial just talking stage, there is no reason to be exclusive.

However, lying about it is inexcusable.

Your suspicions are probably correct and there is nothing wrong with talking to other people.Many people are here looking for a friend or partner.It would be foolish of me to expect someone to drop all their friends just to converse with me exclusively.However when someone says they are not messaging anyone else when in reality they are then that is deliberately misleading.Why lie ? If I can't handle the fact that the OP is messaging others then I think I am looking in the wrong place.If you make an agreement not to message others you should honor that agreement.

If you love a good chat with this guy just for the sake of chatting then keep on. he may eventually tell you about his other dates
