In a nutshell,(IMO) a soulmate is someone who is there for you and you for them 24/7, no matter the situation. They are your rock, your peace, your strength, your happiness...and yes, they will even put themselves in harms way to keep you safe. I fortunately have had the pleasure of experiencing this and DO believe in it AND the fact that maybe there is another waiting for me to experience.

Having a sole mate, means comfortable boots.

Having a soul mate is like having a best friend, lover and companion all wraped into one. Its the perfect relationship in my opinion. Trying to find one is the hardest to find.

I think we have very different nutshells ... yours makes me feel smothered and restrained... not my cup of tea.

Contrary to popular belief they're not your unique other half.
Soulmates can be in your life for 20 seconds or 20 years. They can be your friend, family, lover, someone you vaguely see in the street or briefly talk to in a shop.

Whenever you meet one, you often get that feeling that you know each other. If you've ever asked someone "Have I met you before? It feels like I know you!" then you're quite likely dealing with a soulmate.

So you see you don't have to feel left out ... You've met lots of soulmates already and you will continue to do so :)

Yes, i think this is more like a soulmate definition...
I heard and experienced that we can meet soulmates even in some animals we incounter -- for example when we have an instant "click " with a horse or a dog or a cat we meet for the first time. It's probably a soul we know from previous life experiences...;)
I think i have been living with a "soulmate" (my cat ) for the last 15 years. I had had cats before but with this cat it has been as we were ment for each other and have a special understanding and connection -- i think that is what soulmates feel...

Other than that, if you can't see any benefit to a soul mate, or even think of a benefit to having a soulmate, then they probably have no benefit to you.


Don't worry.
Not having one doesn't mean you've failed anything or missed out on anything. And there's no jail time or fines involved for not having one.

I have never had a soul mate, so I don't know what it feels like.

I don't think it has anything to do with being more or less cudly (my cat is not even that cudly), but more with the evolutionary level of the animal. Generally, I would say that it works even with snakes, rats, fish and spiders, but more likely, profoundly and obviously with the animals on the higher level of evolution and not exclusively pets, but also domestic and wild animals. But if you completeley disbelieve this (and i know it sounds unbeliavable), that's another story....

Well not even that (evolutionary), but animals like snakes and spiders don't really have rapport with humans do they? Cats, dogs, horses etc. have. They have been living closely with humans for centuries.

I'm not sure I believe in soulmates reincarnating in animals myself. I know some believe so, I keep an open mind, but it's not a theory that I hold myself.
I do believe in familiars, which is possibly almost the same. You know, the animals a witch had, a magickal helper. Often cats, but also other animals.
But a lot of that got weird due to churchies: Some people have even been ruled to be a witch and condemned to death because a fly flew around in the courtroom

Apart from all that, everyone has a great many soulmates and everyone has already met an awful lot of them, and will continue to do so as long as they live.

Your unique other half is the Twin Ray and that's another ballgame entirely. Most don't ever meet him/her, because most aren't ready for that.
NOthing to worry about, you can still get very happy with a man/woman, a soulmate, one of your many Twin Souls, or one of your Twin Flames.
