Does anybody know if when your Mutual Match list gets real big if there is a way to delete the ones you have no interest in?

There is a real easy way..when in Match
click 'NO' on their profile.

(Otherwise, and in the spirit of your query,
that is the ONLY way.)

And, in the event you mean your actual page
of Mutual Matches, where you selected each
other, there is a wee box to the right of
their name on that page which deletes them.
