Why am I 'not eligible' to message some people here ?

They have set their preferences, maybe age, location, etc. http://mingle2.com/inbox/filters It is the same place you set your filters (though I see you have none set.)

On second thoughts, just a suggestion, people who I'm not eligible to contact should not appear in 'people you may be interested in' section.
