Hmmm... I'm a Pagan and a Witch that does acknowledge the God of the Bible. So, nope, I guess I'm not a heathen.

I've been accused of being a heathen many times. I look back over history and look at the communities that were labeled heathen and those labeled, ha what are they labeled "Godly" "progressive" "saved". I must just have a thing for heathens. They just make more sense to me when it comes to what's really important and what should take priority in life.

Lady Valkyrie isn't just my screen name, it's mycraft/magickal name as well. I chose it using numerology... matching it with my Life Path number (which happens to be 1. So, even though my chosen deities are not Norse, I have a very strong connection to the Norse dieties... I am of German decent afterall.

There's a numerology alphabet get Uncle Ray Bucklands book, A complete book of witchcraft and it will explain.Your birth number and name number arent the same usually so you choose a new name and that name should be made out to be the same number as your birth number so your in tune with everything.

Uncle Ray, huh, I like that relationship. I just wondered if you figure it out by adding up your birth day and then coming upon the final number that way in other words 12/15/1961

1+2+1+5+1+9+6+1=26 and since 26 is a two digit # add those and the birth # would be 8.

it opens up a way to classify them

and thus doing so opens them up to

stereotypical remarks such as

(them heathens went and ripped of my such n such)

while not every heathen was in on the escapade

the use of the word heathen tosses all heathens into the crime

Well I'm a Heathen,Pagan and Witch. Too follow the Norse deities...Tyr and Freya to be exact.But not Asatru..And a label is just a word...We need words to help us understand things better.Instead of saying I'm me..I say I'm blonde blue eyes...etc...words...
