Topic: Seeing moving shadows in your peripheral vision

Just lately,
I've been seeing what I can only call shadows,
Moving at the edge of my peripheral vision.

My eyes are fine, I wear glasses,
and have done so since aged 14, now I'm 52
so I know I'm not imagining things lol.

I don't know how to explain it better :(
Its like a shadow moving at the far left or right of my vision,
and when I turn round to look, there is nothing there.

I've been in this house for around 3 years,
And its not haunted so I cant explain these shadows
it only happens at home too
and its niggling me....

Has anyone else come across similar things/symptoms?

I'll say it's probably those things that float around in your eye, I've had the same thing

Oh I know what you mean,
I've had them too,
kinda like spots or clouds floating across your eyes.

No,
This different its not those floaty things in your eyes.
This is like at the very edge of your (far left and right)

Hmmmm...

I have detached retinas and one sign of that
is the shadows at the edges of your vision,
as a detachment worsens, the shadow increases
leading to pinpoint vision, then..nothing.

You might get that checked out :-)

I see them all the time. It's probably caused by a bunch of things...lack of oxygen, a rush of oxygen, medications, lack of vitamins, age changes, retina damage, etc. In my case, I think it had to do with when the Timothy Leary followers experimented on me with lysergic acid diethylamide; or perhaps when my genius friends and I decided to stare straight into the sun for periods at a time when we were kids oops offtopic ....think so I guess moral of the story is to stay away from chemicals and bright lights and eat a nutritious diet AND exercise to get the blood flowing...lol

edit: Oh, let me add the Timothy Leary followers where in my college days...lol.

Definitely get it checked out. There are too many very bad things it can be.

One less bad thing, are symptoms of migraine. I used to suffer from massive migraine headaches, and then years later, instead of just pain, I would get visual hallucinations. Just shapes appearing in my field of vision, occasionally obscuring my view, other times just in the periphery. Intriguingly enough, the visuals were NOT always accompanied by pain.

In my case, the migraines and all symptoms proved to be due to diet. I chose more healthy eating, and took some multivitamins, and solved them.

But get checked.

Thank you for the link,
I have to admit, some of the thread comments sent an immediate cold shiver down my spine as I could associate with it!!

I've bookmarked it for further reading as and when time allows.

challenge for ya
and its not easy to do
next time you notice them
dont turn to look at them , or move your eyes to look at them

but watch them : )

oh and fyi,
just because your house was not haunted before , does not mean it cant become later
<shrug>
there is more to life then we know
as smart as we think we are
we are just high tech cave humans

You better have your eyes checked to rule out problems , shadows that you see could either be a paranormal activity or just an eye defect:)

But I would say shadow people really do exist, I had some experiences before. I only see shadows and then feel the energy like a magnet on my skin, my hair rises when I know someone or something is around. I have a friend before, a member of the group called SPIRIT QUESTORS here in Philippines ,he used to get interviewed on TV shows during Holy week and Halloween week. He helped me open my third eye but unfortunately I wasn't able to fully open it so I only see shadows. Glad I couldn't see the face hahaha, he told me that sometimes he gets afraid when he sees something along he road sometimes goes with him inside the car , waaahahaha.... scary....yap I had experienced that too:but hey don't let it scare you, some are friendly...just recognize their presence , they won't harm you. I got a caress on my hair and a little child plays with me before  laugh
