Whichever comes first friends or dating?

That's like the chicken and the egg argument, it all depends upon your point of view. Some people believe you should be friends first and some like to date strangers sometimes never become friends with them.

Depends.

If you're meeting a stranger, dating comes first.
You can have a first date with someone you have absolutely no prior relationship with. Dating came first.

You can be friends with someone for a while and then choose to date them removing the platonic boundaries/inhibitions from the relationship that already exists. Friendship came first.

For me, friendship always come first than dating. It is better to gain someone's trust first and see where it would lead to. I wouldn't go on a date with someone I don't know well, I always make sure I could trust someone with my life before going out on a date with him. And love founded in friendship lasts longer , even if love fails the friendship still remains most of the time.

I don't date my friends..lol...ok.I might have sex with them... and if are airplane crashes into a mountain.. I might consider eating them..
But I would never date them..lol

Note to Self: Never be on the same airplane that no1phD is on.

I agree ... all depends on where you have met ... on line I believe ...
you may be friends first then go on a date ... or FWB ... or you are going on a date with a stranger for the first time... and they go into the friend zone ... becouse you did not click with one another ...
most can say I married my best friend ... love comes in many ways ...

passion has to be there to begin with,...then develop into a

friendship....allmost never does it develop from friendship...passion puts a

spark in the relationship when your dating. but first you have to get past

there persona, (the wall thats around them) ...you have to deal directly with

there inner child...a women can see it happening, guys allmost never see it

when its happening..guys who are good with women know this.... so hang

out with guys who are good with women.....p,s. personally i will not have lover

There was a game show on TV (name forgotten) but they would have 3
sets of friends on with their mates then see who knew their mate
the best.

Dan Martin (Rowan&Martin 'Laugh in') was on with his wife
and 2 other couples.

The question for the females to guess what their mate would do
was, 'If your plane went down in the ocean and the only survivors
were you and the other 2 friends and one little old lady..how
long would it take you on the desert island to hit up the
only female?'

in my humble opinion, people usually date strangers to get to know them

that can end with a friendship which can lead to a romance

its really about the purpose of 'dating',, people usually have to spend time together while getting to know each other, whether that time is labeled as a 'date' or not, is totally subjective


for me, I have to spend time and become friends first,,,,
