Like your country & India, we are over populated. (We are the top 3). I really don't forsee cars in the future. I think here we (USA) should be taking down bridges (that were only constructed to last 30 yrs & are much much older) & build more trains.. coast to coast. Ugh... We have alot to learn here ;~)

Charity begins at home. Amen ;~). But back on topic. No one needs anything else nuke. (but no one would stop) & the skies are too busy now...New planes will not solve the problem. I think Japan had the lead in Mass transit as far back as 1970's w/bullet trains. Now.. Your country may be in the lead. Some countries in Europe also have hi~tec train systems.

how many oil still contains through decades drain for the social developing......that's kind of highly request by the international energy agency.....so nuke power still will leading the air-transit in the future. th bullet trains may ocupying the main transit system it self but there still the huge costs behide like security porblems and some how........drinker

I agree. Because what I want to happen... Which would be the safest solution for everyone in the long run; won't happen. Ugh... ;~( Those planes are the future. Goverments will see them as the most cost effective & most people view all or new technology as a 'good thing'. * Like kids with a shiney new toy* Especially if they think it is faster or easier... Because. so many think 'Now.. Now.. Now... Instant satisfaction' We are so screwed....

not all the new technology production always brings the 'good thing' to the socialty. acually some time it's kind of burdence to the national wide......for example like pyramid then what finally had happen in the egypt? drinker as the romans had burn the Alexanda library what human had do so in the rest of the history? some unshifting change will causes the creation define as devil's piece and that's what i had learn from it through decades studing of social it self just as the gun wave burn out the land of whole china and the japan back to the 19th centry and they still given the description as <technology liberation> to those chapter of history. some thing are uncontrolable deep inside the pshcological of human scence when people have to living together as large social activites since our ancestor did so for survival purpose. the seven motions just as the marker already burns on the mass social movments long time ago. so then the terrors happening. why most engineers won't think other wise before they trying another new master piece and that's to conserns......drinker

Actually, the US will solve the real tech problems like always.

Instead of slightly improving old technology the US is

secretely working on Teleporters, Phase Shifters, and Holodecks.

oh just what we need a bomb in the air that can not only fall out of the sky and kill what is on it and a small area around it to now kill everything on it and a big area around it : (

nuclear power is a bust
and way to dangerous
and the waist : (

we need to wake up and run away from that
i thought that Chernobyl and Fukushima would wake people up
<shrug>
some people never learn i guess

U you know I love my Grandmother but she was the secretary to General Graves and worked on the Manhattan Project. I. Grateful my grandfather came home from Normandy but I do not agree with using nuclear. Nuclear is a nightmare waiting to happen

It's already happened.
With Fukushima blowing up during that earthquake we're going to have toxic oceans for generations to come. So much so that they had to increase the 'safety' limit for radiations in Japan.

"The destruction of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in March 2011, caused by an earthquake and subsequent tsunami, resulted in massive radioactive contamination of the Japanese mainland. In November 2011, the Japanese Science Ministry reported that long-lived radioactive cesium had contaminated 11,580 square miles (30,000 sq km) of the land surface of Japan. Some 4,500 square miles – an area almost the size of Connecticut – was found to have radiation levels that exceeded Japan’s allowable exposure rate of 1 mSV (millisievert) per year.

About a month after the disaster, on April 19, 2011, Japan chose to drastically increase its official “safe” radiation exposure levels from 1 mSv to 20 mSv per year – 20 times higher than the US exposure limit. This allowed the Japanese government to downplay the dangers of the fallout and avoid evacuation of many badly contaminated areas.

However, all of the land within 12 miles (20 km) of the destroyed nuclear power plant, encompassing an area of about 230 square miles (600 sq km), and an additional 80 square miles (200 sq km) located northwest of the plant, were declared too radioactive for human habitation. All persons living in these areas were evacuated and the regions were declared to be permanent “exclusion” zones."

In addition to Chernobyl and Fukushima, lets not forget the three mile island incident in which reactor 2 had a partial meltdown. It took 14 years to clean that mess up. Nuke power is not the answer and never will be in my opinion.

yes......but the velcle engine won't be the same type as the chernobyl and fukushima in the power station it is the reactor but the velcel you knew that some mothership of america also using the nuke power as it's power source won't you? then? :) by the globle oil were comsume for the social developing hundreds years how many oil still contains? that's kind of globle request if the world machine still try to running like the current. now 3/5 of land of china already turn bad land i don't count on those consumers whom try to explain that they've got the better idea as they've lie to the social it self will you? and that's problem why i admire the nuke power will be the main future human power resource. unless you don't never cournting the populace as you don't care. to me i'm rather to be a hill bily as i wish if i can.......it's realy boring both tire to living in the city did you feel so? but how will i have my chance? it's helpless if you try to think so......back to the traditional life there still whole lot of a day ahead everyday......now i'm just kind of drone work for the company as most people do so......no burdence no nuke. that's what i had learn from these disgusting social scence, america just as the china did so for the conflicts these years.....had you seen the satellite map of america? also the bad lands around the west coast line but more eastern near the loki montains through the northern land to the south........damn......
