They just released the information on it. What the F***! They are remaking the cult classic to air on Fox this October! They are going to screw that up and ruin it, just look at the cast below........
Laverne Cox as Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Definitely the wrong pick) Victoria Justice as Janet Weiss Ryan McCartan as Brad Majors Reeve Carney as Riff-Raff Christina Milian as Magenta Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia Staz Nair as Rocky Adam Lambert as Eddie (Eh) Ben Vereen as Dr. Everett von Scott Tim Curry as the Criminologist (The only casting I like, all though it will be difficult watching because he played Frank-N-Furter in the original) Ivy Levan as Usherette Oh and Kenny Ortega from High School Musical is directing and producing. Ugh...... I wonder how they got Richard O'Brien to sign off on this. He has been BERY protective of this ever since it came out and refused for years to give the ok for a remake........ |

Oh God, please no.... snif snif... That's what I said. Some classics should NEVER be remade! A sequel, sure. I actually liked the sequel they made for the original Rocky Horror Picture Show. I thought it was off beat and the music was catchy and the majority of the same people came back. It's called Shock Treatment. You should check it out. Little Nell who played the ever so sexy Columbia wears a sexy nurses outfit through the whole movie. So HOTT! |

Can you actually see him playing the Criminologist? I understand maybe him making a cameo but c'mon. Plus they being in some horrible actors like the one playing Frank-N-Furter. I will watch it because I am a fan, but I am not excited about it. |

LOL,,,I will pass altogether but Im sure I can read here how well it went over,,, I felt the same way, but I love Tim Curry. He is an amazing actor and I really want to see how he pulls off the Criminologist, and now that I think about it I really don't think Lambert will be to bad as Eddie. I also want to see if they modernize the set or they use all those cheesy props......... I think using an actual Transvestite will ruin it to. That was part of the gag with Tim Curry. He is straight as an arrow. |

Yes, it's the further adventures of Brad and Janet. It's actually pretty good. It's a lot like RHPS but in a different sort of way. It's hard to explain. All most all of the same cast except Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon came back. |

There were a few creative things I liked like the Usherette doing Science Fiction at the beginning. I thought Christina Milian was fantastic as Magenta and the girl who played Janet was really good and Columbia was amazing, Brad was ok, he over played it and the rest of the cast just stunk. Plus they ruined the Time Warp. |

Hollywood is fresh out of new ideas. Just look at the superhero movies. They have run the table on that... fresh out of any more superhero's, so now they are trying to remake classics... which everyone know.. you can't... that is why the are classics But , you throw enough money at some actors.. and they do the movie.. why?... for the money.. purely for the money. I hope it gets bad reviews and no one goes. |
