Fine
By RAC May 5, 2014 When on the occasion of being asked, When a Woman says she’s fine, It’s not a condition of health, Nor a statement of her mind. If the mistake is made of being asked twice A shiver goes down my spine. Though she may say it in a voice sounding nice, I can tell, she’s anything but fine. And when the answer is given, In an exasperating tone, Of a flatly said ‘Whatever’ It chills me to the bone. When I hear her say these words, I do not continue nor persist. I just slink out of sight, For I know she must be pissed. ‘Cause when that woman glares at you With the a deadly look on her face, I know it’s time to back away, And give her some private space. Well, I had to learn this the hard way, No one to show me the ropes, There should have been a book out there, Entitled ‘Women 101…for Dopes’ |
