I had to make a bank depoist, early this morning, to pay a bill, & get something to eat.
I brought the driver, a big old fashion pretzel with mustard. He was so HAPPY, he did not charge me, for the $10.00 ride. He said "no one ever gave me food, no matter where they went & that he appreciates it"

I don't know what country he was from. But we sure did laugh alot & eat pretzels together.

Thank you Mister drinker

What kindness, has come back to you?

Sassy tonight standing in line at the grocer... This thread came to mind.
There was an elderly lady ahead of me checking out.
I noticed that she was starting to fret as she watched the bill rise.
When it came to the end of her check out. She asked the Cashier to take a couple of items off...

This really got to me since
A she was elderly
B no junk food
C it is only the middle of the month

So I asked the cashier to put the items on my bill. And then give them to her

The thing that got to me. Was He was snarky about it I had to ring up those two items so she could go on her way. I just wanted it done quietly so she could have them and her dignity..

I am not so sure about the kindness I am blessed to have enough to eat and pay my bills.

And I thought "By Grace go I".

Anyway I wanted to thank you for this thread.

Seen & unseen
She may invite someone over to eat, that needs to be there. She may tell people what you did & they do a small kindness.

Like my driver, he may have been hungry, he may have known hunger, he may of had those pretzels in his country of origin as a child.

We just don't know. And may not need to know.
