The Senate passed legislation Tuesday allowing Sept. 11 victims and their families to sue other countries for their role in the attacks, defying White House objections and reported threats by Saudi Arabia to sell its U.S. debt holdings.

The House would need to pass the measure to send it to President Barack Obama, who has expressed opposition to the bill, S .2040.

I believe we gave those families involved and where harmed or died in the 911 terror attacked restoration $... I understand really know amount of $ can bring back a loved one or a friend or repair a life ...

but if they over run the Presidents veto ... do those understand the consequences this can bring to America by letting this happen ...

it will open the largest Pandora's box ever ...Today the phrase "to open Pandora's box" means to perform an action that may seem small or innocent, but that turns out to have severely detrimental and far-reaching negative consequences...

we have a lot of military all over the world ..so
thinks about this... who pays their taxes to the government lets say us ... well when all of this comes back on us becouse this gives people the opportunity to sue other country ... know one thinks of the repercussion of the USA as it opens the box... for America to be sued for possible untrue actions and just for the $ ... well that will all come out of the pockets of those that live in the united states ... so personally... I hope the veto of the President can stand ...

"The administration strongly continues to oppose this legislation," White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Tuesday after the Senate vote. The administration may seek additional changes to the measure or try to get it killed in the House... lets hope so ...
