No thanks.
I've tried selling things on craigslist, backpage, and garage sales.
Whenever I've looked at those places to buy something everything is a piece of crap and priced higher than it's worth and I thought the sellers were price gouging.

But having sold things from those sites I commiserate with those sellers.
Dealing with the people trying to buy my stuff made me think I should have asked for an annoyance premium.

It was almost more worthwhile to throw the stuff (or car) in the garbage and call it a day.

God knows what else will be added to this list anyway..

God knows who all is going to show up to buy your stuff, but more likely than not the majority of them are going to be something that God should apologize to the universe for creating.

Okay, so I can see 2 and 3, and even 4 if it looks very well used but dude, why do you have a porn collection when you have the internet?

Well I hope I get some decent buyers who are worthy. I am not looking for money here but someone who will take care of my collection

I started this collection from my college time and over the years it kept growing as my friends added their collections to mine.

Well, the only take I have on this is, that if your interaction with your significant other leads you to make changes in your life that you want to do anyway, all is well.

If you are doing anything on your list to try to buy good feelings from the other person, and you don't actually want to do it for yourself alone, it will backfire every time. You will resent the other person for making you pretend to change yourself, and that will act like a slow-acting poison on how your life goes forward.

Some stuff that's left over from my previous webshop

Dumped 6 bin bags of clothes last week, couldn't be bothered to try and sell them. So okay on the clothes front

My old tv (not a flat screen)

Bunch of old books

Wouldn't mind selling some of my paintings

Then it sound like it's time to pass the torch and find someone single to had the collection over to. Then again I don't think anyone other then a collector is going to want it because the internet has made hard copies obsolete.

Those are really wise words. I may be doing it unwilling now but I know in long run it is good for me too. I don't want any poison in my life glasses

I know and you are right that someone single will only take those. Fortunately there are lot of college people around so it's matter of finding someone worthy

Hummm so do y'all live in the same place?

If not then why is she telling you what to get rid of and what to keep?

I have never understood why one would get rid of the things they enjoy...Buy plastic tubs with lids store the stuff in a closet ect.. Down the line when you feel you no longer want the stuff, then sell it or get it back out...

But then why would you keep past g/f clothes around??

I can understand stuff they bought you that you use.. but clothes??

Unless it's a t-shirt that I happen to wear I would never keep a ex or ex bf's clothes...

Hummm and your bong so you smoke she does not like that either so you are no longer partaking of the green? Again pack it down you may need that later down the road.. slaphead

I know you are right that she doesn't live with me then why is she telling all this but it is better to have a happy gf than an angry one. Also I am not using them anyway so let her be happy about it. My previous gf lived with me so I have all her clothes and stuff but now I can get rid of them and make space for Jenny's stuff.
Ah bong...you may be right, I do host lot of parties so I will give it to one of my friend rather selling it. Good one.
