Means they are no longer an active member. Their profile has been deactivated either by them or by the site...
You can not send messages to deactivated members.

Some members deactivate their account temporarily when they log out or when
they are not going to be around for a while.

If you no longer want to be a member of this site, you have to deactivate
your account. We cannot deactivate it for you.

Read about deactivating account here

perhaps they were deactivated by the site as scammers, or
they deactivated their profile to avoid receiving messages

Thread edited for off topic and locked.

If you received emails that seemed to be from bots, please report them as Scammers.

All members should have received an automatic e-mail concerning this issue and how to deal with it.

We are really sorry that you are running into this issue. The Site has a Report/Abuse System in place that all members are required to use to report such issue.

If you do not know how to report you can use the e-mail they sent you look to the bottom right click on Report/Abuse/Spam and follow the directions. These reports go straight to Admin. Mods do not handle Scammers only Admin does.

Another way you can report them is on their profile to the right you will see Report This User click on that and follow the instructions.

We rely on members to help us by reporting them. Many do slip by us and we need members to help by reporting.

We ask that the Forums not to be used for this problem due to we have a Report System which is noted in the Forum Rules.

With that said this thread is being locked. We ask that all Members use the Forums strictly for getting to know those that post within the forums.

If you have a problem with the site or a question then please post that in either the Help section http://mingle2.com/forum/forum/7
Or Bug Reports http://mingle2.com/forum/forum/8
These are both located at the very bottom when you scroll down on the Community Forums.

Hope this helps.
