arbitrary: 2. Based on or subject to individual judgment or preference: The diet imposes overall calorie limits, but daily menus are arbitrary.

Two arbitrary concepts : 'patriotic' and 'pc'

These are two concepts which are always interesting because their application seems so often to be so inconsistent, do you agree?

that its inconsistent for 'patriots' to love and revere the concepts that represent america. to hold so much animosity if others dont,, yet to be so judgmental , dismissive, and vicious towards actual AMERICANS ?

or or them to insist government (the managing entity of a country) is NOTHING But corrupt but the country they manage is 'the best'

isnt that like saying, billys mom and dad are totally negligent and abusive, but his home is the 'best'?

is it odd to want to beat someone up or deport them for not showing 'proper respect' for a flag,, but give them an award for taking a human life in order to secure some material things? ( come to think of it, when placing the value of things above the value of human life, I guess that is at least consistent)

that its inconsistent to revere being 'non pc/telling it like it is" , which implies not being concerned with tolerance or offense,,,but to have disdain for those who dont seem tolerant enough of or offend you/your values?

is it odd to believe someone saying, for instance, women over 35 are too old is just being non pc , but someone saying minorities are profiled is being 'divisive'?

how often do you believe these concepts actually applied in a CONSISTENT manner

I havent seen or heard it very often,,,
