why and should a President elected be allowed to have talks with other countries before they are even sworn in ...

and what gives our congress or the house the right to write letters to other leaders of countries ... Like they did with Iran ... and

don't you believe they may have put us in more danger and this should have been the Presidents job...

I know we are trying to get along with Syria and Russia but I do hope they remember how all of this started with Syria using chemicals on their own people and as many that could fled ...got out an now others are taking care of them ...

There's no law I've heard of, preventing any American from talking to most foreign leaders. As with anything, there are scenarios which would be problematic, such as meeting with leaders who are officially declared to be enemies or terrorists and so forth.

It was anti-Constitutional for the Senate to have directly negotiated with foreign governments. Negotiating treaties is specifically set as a responsibility and power of the Executive branch.

Free speech? Free association?

Is there any evidence they weren't structured "talks?"
Like did Putin call Trump and the secret service recorded it and it's sent to and analyzed by the NSA or something?

Or is Trump setting up clandestine meetings with Putin in a dive bar in Cuba?

what gives our congress or the house the right to write letters to other leaders of countries

The same right that allows teachers to get their students to write letters to prisoners and random strangers around the world?

Big difference between "wrote a letter" and "received millions in donations from foreign leaders to their foundation."

don't you believe they may have put us in more danger

Danger of what?
Did Trump sign a treaty? Or sell stolen military hardware?
Did Trump get off the phone with Putin or whomever and then decree congress send troops or money or business somewhere?

Were you aware that politicians and rich people from different countries have parties and go to events all the time and talk to each other?

Dennis Rodman went to North Korea. Did that scare you?

trump may have told him they could work something out ... like taking some of the sanctions off Putin ... if elected ...

as much as I would love to see the electoral votes gone...
seems they would have to change the constitution ... they put it in place becouse of the black voters ... they did not want them to vote ...
wow... what a surprise... now we have a white supremacist as a leader ... isn't that just great ... he may deny this now ... but he ran with the KKK and their now calling it something new ... besides Nazi... the rightest ? not sure ... frustrated
