seriously we should be paying MORE to reflect the true price of oil!! i cant believe some of you are complaining for paying $100/tank. here's a thought.. maybe trade in your goddamned boat for something more energy efficient!

3.10 .....it's killing me!! Lauren...I would have a hard time strapping 2 small children onto the back of a bike and dropping them off at first daycare then school and then commuting to work! Glad it works for you but it just is not realistic for everyone!!

40% of brazil uses gas made up of ethanol and sugar cane because sugar cane makes a higher yield when mixed with ethanol ..so why do we use corn...huh

When you think about it...gas isn't that expensive. It just seems that way, because we are used to it being cheaper. Because of gas we have newer faster ways of getting around. We really should be more gracious.

Take it from them!? Are you kin to Bush? Kidding, but really...take it from them? The implications of that statement.....

$2.93.9 in Rapid City SD Today.

Tom:

you don't mix sugar cane with methanol, you ferment anything containing sugar and then distill it to get the methanol. You get more methanol from sugar cane than from corn because it has more sugar. The reason we use corn to make methanol is because most of the cropland and the climate in the U.S. is not condusive to growing sugar cane. It is however, very condusive to growing corn and other grains.
