Polish Kielbasa & Sauerkraut in the slow cooker w/brown sugar, apple cider and honey.
Those canned "New" potatoes ~ sliced & seasoned lightly with ginger
Butter-fried Brussels sprouts with a dash of malt vinegar.
Toasted Brown n' Serve rolls or biscuits
Irish Coffee

The apple cider and honey in the slow cooker is my addition to the dish. Mom just make it with brown sugar but I like the new additions better so I started adding them.

When I was a kid I wasn't allowed to have the Irish Coffee so I had pop.

Do you have a traditional New Year's Supper that helps define the holiday? Do you add or subtract any parts to make it your own tradition. Do other family members share the same traditional meal?

Tom,I love all types of food, yet on New Years day, I just have a good old Roast Chicken with the works, Sage & Onion Stuffing mixed with Sausage meat, Roast Spuds, Peas-Carrots & Gravy.

Home Baked Apple pie with a hint of Cinnamon & fresh Devon Cream.

Oh yes, the Irish Coffee.
