I would either learn or leave. I wouldnt try to change their laws!  I realize they dont know, but they need to. Dont you agree that it would be disrespectful to me or your father if some price were not charged to be American ? What about you? It must have been rough with your dad gone for that long!

yeah it was very rough i only go to be with my dad, half my life the other times he was off in other countries, if they pay a price it should at least be taxes , look at cubans they dont do any of the things mexicans do, all they have to do is land on US soil and there autmatically citizens with jobs offered to them on the spot , we have to work for our stuff, which has more pride

yeah that test is very very hard, ill find it online and post it, the questions are insane, a college graduate would nt get i got a 95 of 100 on 1 of the state department practice tests it is not that hard and i missed a senator it was a newly elected one  |

I bet it is hard for you. Being a Mexican American in school surrounded by children of illegal immigrants.
I bet it was hard picking loyalties! I feel for you, but just remember someone in your family once, and your father now pays a price for you to be American! Dont give it away! Im white by color , one quarter American Indian, (my mother was half Iroquois) but American, just like you in blood. Like your father I am also a vet!
