I could say I’m some kind of expert traveler, I had the ability to adapt very easy to the environment

Last year I went to Shanghai for almost a week, 50/50 business/rest trip
First thing to know is not every one speaks English, and in not every Hotel or Accommodation they receive non English speakers, be carful on what you look for stay and be sure how many days you’re going to stay there.
I always prefer downtown location as a point of reference, every one knows where, and every body can tell you how to get there
Also has a subway station, bus, or whatever transportation near it’s very convenient

The Cindy (my mind was in other place)
Sorry, the City
Is one of the most modern cities I ever visited, all the subway stations had previously blocked bathrooms, and the most surprising “clean”, double door, no one can reach the rails very secure and no has to be worry if someone wants to commit suicided, fast and reliable
They have some kind of electronic system to pay over the phone
There’s also exchange ATM machines
They do not use physical menus, they are most of the time over the main entrance wall
This is the most surprising of all, I expect see everyone with Chinese brand móvil phones, big mistake
Everyone are using an iPhone, and not just one, 2-3 one of them for a different purpose

Somethings are as expensive as any other big city, but the food is cheap and delicious, mmmmmmm

I eat dog by mistake !!, juag, juag , it wants bad at all, a little different taste from beef

There’s a lot to say, I’ll think to complete in more answers
