is there a way to look at deleted mail ... or to do a reset on the mingle2 system?

1. It could be you received a notice from a scammer who has been banned and the email was deleted. Also, make sure you aren't seeing an ad saying you have a message

2. Why did I encounter an email limit?
We had to place a limit on first-contact emails because of spammers. Basically, this cuts down the number of first-contact emails that one can send within a two-to-three-day period (we can't divulge anymore information about this limit). However, a member affected by this limit will still be able to send an unlimited number of emails to those with whom he or she has already had some back-and-forth. It should be noted that MinglePlus members are exempt.

3. You can't retrieve deleted emails. Once deleted, they are gone

There is a kink in the system that results in a mail notification
that does not (apparently) exist.

What happens is, someone mails you and it drops off the first,
second or third page..one has to go back over emails to find that
one email (it should be highlighted in red)..you can also miss
it if you are emailing with someone and a new email arrives from
them before or just after you have emailed them..it can be
overlooked.

I have found new messages 6-8 pages back in email, so good luck :-)

I think, that mail notification disappears, when you log out, and back in

If you have had a message from someone and during you replying and sending they send another one it will show '1 unread message'
Just click on the previous message and you'll see it. good luck

I keep getting emails saying that someone has sent me a message, but when I look, it seems to be the message that I sent to them. All I can find is my message.

And on the mobile app there are 2 mail tabs. One for messages and one for nudges or flirts. Both tabs have to be viewed seperately.
