The sun don't set, it just moves out of your perspective.

Compass not giving accurate information wtf?

The accuracy of a magnetic compass and the information presented depends on land characteristics, the quality of the compass and the ability and knowledge of the hiker.

But, hey, lets say your compass is accurately calibrated and there are no abnormally large magnetic deposits in your area.

Did you know that magnetic North is constantly changing?
Did you know that the magnetosphere of the Earth actually flips but before it flips it can cause sporadic changes in magnetic poles?

A magnetosphere is a region of space surrounding an astronomical object in which charged particles are manipulated or affected by that object's magnetic field. It is created by a planet having an active interior dynamo. In the space environment close to a planetary body, the magnetic field resembles a magnetic dipole.

The science shows that magnetic pole reversal is – in terms of geologic time scales – a common occurrence that happens gradually over millennia. While the conditions that cause polarity reversals are not entirely predictable – the north pole's movement could subtly change direction.

This is a great topic!
Too bad I'm leaving for work and totally swamped with activity all weekend... I'm going to check back on this one. I might postulate there is a toroidal field under the dome related to the N / S 'poles' ... and there are lay lines, etc. The Bible says the Sun, Moon & stars move in their appointed circuits and that things will change... to watch for signs.
Keep talking people.

Over the passed couple decades pilots have known there are some changes coming about, another 1859 would likely cripple a lot of our present tech.

Omg.. myself and the girlfriend were talking about this just the other night..
The moon does not seem to be coming across our view from where we live like it used to... and when it does I can make note of its position but then the very next night is not even close to where it was the night previous...at the same time...

Sometimes the moon isn't even there. The Sun be somewhere LOL. It's probably that magnetic shift or whatever it was that happened.
