I'm not in Arizona but 75 is not hot, or are you saying your air conditioner is set at 75.

121 is hot. Some places in AZ have to have air conditioner. I don't don't know how you can live like that. It was around 90 where I live in Idaho. I was good, and no air conditioner.

Yep A/C on at 75. Monsoon makes it sticky. I'll take the 110+ degrees with the dry heat any day. We've been getting the haboobs the last couple of days. Makes everything all dirty. Heading to Prescott for a soccer camp. Much cooler up there.

It makes Arizona news every few years that someone's summer monthly electric bill is more than their mortgage payment--after all, we're running the air conditioning 24/7. Still better than the snow battering that Buffalo routinely receives every few years.

I know it's just an old expression, but:

While dogs have a small amount of sweat glands (which are prominently in the paw pads), their primary source of heat exchange (i.e., getting rid of heat) is by panting. Vasodilation (i.e., dilating of blood vessels [which can cause a flushing appearance on the skin]) is another method. Lastly, they are capable of sweating a little via their paw pads.

everytime I see someone walking their dog without protective coverings on their paws... I want to snatch their shoes off their feet and let them see what the pavement feels like.

Arizona was really not that bad
I've been in places where it's a lot hotter than 121

While it’s hot, the weather is the best from September to May in Tucson. This evening will show a gorgeous sunset with the clouds reflecting passionate colors. There are endless things you can do If you can stay inside when it is scorching outside; including scorching in pleasure
