That's a good reason to dump the broken systems and start with a new system that isn't monopolised by certain embedded interest groups.
Look at the symbols large and small displayed by 'governments' and then understand what they really indicate. Old symbol books are best. 'Land of the free'
It's not broken, it was made that way. Bit by bit, changes hardly noticed, then look what you've got. Like Tom said, 'we the people' doesn't happen much anymore.

Too distracted by TV, games, music, social media etc. to keep an eye on what the other people ( who got their jobs from a questionable popularity contest ), are doing with the rules to your life as a listed/registered 'citizen PERSON' in your nation. Whatever 'civilised' nation.
