Each man is different, although of the men I've known the two common things they've really really wanted were respect and appreciation.

At this particular moment, someone to make me breakfast would be fantastic!

I'm wondering now... COOK breakfast? WTF??
What's there to cook? Breakfast is bread, maybe a few croissants in the weekend. Milk with it and then coffee.

I meant to find out WHAT there is to cook. We have nothing to cook for breakfast, unless you happen to want a fried or boiled egg.
You mentioned what in your next post.
So it's more like an English breakfast. I didn't know Americans did this. We don't do that over here, hence my question. I think maybe in the days my granddad was very young, or possibly before that, people would eat fat stuff like that cos they needed it in those days due to hard labor 12-14 hrs a day, 6 days a week. But possibly not with beans. I know those generations used lard on their bread, and burnt if off too.
But ppl having heavy breakfasts with greens and stuff is alien to me.

I do like an English breakfast, without the beans and sausages though, and if I make it, it's lunch, not breakfast.

You can use the eggs and bread to make french toast Crystal. If you have stuff for baking... pancakes, bacon and eggs are something men like.

The culture here is diverse so you see a lot of different kinds of breakfast. An American breakfast is typically eggs, some kind of meat (usually sausage, bacon, or ham) potatoes, toast or pancakes. Some like omelettes or skillets. And for the health conscious... fruit, oatmeal, or egg whites with spinach, etc..

Here in New England Dunkin Donuts is popular, people eat donuts and pastries or egg sandwiches using english muffins or croissants.

Oh... and the stores sell a lot of cold cereal... quick and easy for getting the kids off to school with a full belly.

Cold cereals have gained a bit more popularity here, but I don't think many eat it. I am somewhat familiar with it cos of my ex who was British.
I always called it "Eating cardboard" laugh
He used to ask English friends who came over to bring him certain types of cereal, as you cannot get many different types over here (because it isn't popular).

I am btw not in the habit of making a man breakfast. That went out of style around my grandparent's generation. Women in general are not subservient. We're more equal, although there's still work to be done in that area and some ppl might be more old-fashioned still (I think mostly Christians who are still quite religious).
On weekdays when both need to work, ppl make their own breakfast. In the weekends I liked to set the table, put everything on it, but ppl still make their own stuff.
And there's no cooking involved, so it's bread, possibly breadrolls or croissants, but normally just regular bread. Butter, and stuff to put on the bread: chocolate sprinkles, jam, cheese, sliced meat.

What do men really, really want?

What Conan wants.
"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women"

...And breakfast, apparently.

Not sure why this is in the "Dating & Relationship" section? We've had a thread on this before, a mere few who posted in it, and considering the level of what men want, no wonder it disappeared up its own ***.

Basically it was 2 words:
Boobs
Beer
with the occasional utterance of where one had gotten so incredibly inspired to go online to type a 4 or 5 letter word.

Man now has reached a new level: the 9-letter word "breakfast".
Some might consider 4 more letters in one go 'progress', but it still isn't anything about "Dating & Relationship". More like "Games, word games & fun".

That's rather negative...
Based on what I've experienced with an empowered man, and heard from other empowered males...

A woman who's positive, confident, playful, intelligent (+/-same level), standing on her own two feet, able to receive his love, able to give love, able to receive his support & help (= feminine), a little mysterious, sexual & sensual, fun to be with, able to talk about her feelings & issues.

Bear in mind this comes from empowered men... for some it will likely remain 'boobs & beer' for a few more lives, haha.
