I was out walking in it already today. It makes me glad that I came from Michigan, originally. However, this is a bit wicked because there's ice mixed in and I studied the ice on the trees as I walked along. And the wind is biting, needless to say, and snow is much nicer to have on one's face than sleet. Our power keeps blinking, so we may lose it. North of us, in MI, (Blissfield), they have 10 inches already. Yee ha!! Hopefully people are out snowmobiling and having fun. As a parent, I never hope for schools to close, but today I'm hoping my daughter won't have it tomorrow.

i saw pics on the news from the weather up there..its sure pretty, but being i've been in fla almost all my life, i wouldnt know how to deal with that weather
 i'd like to visit it one day, but would never live in it..no way...

I have already dug my car out once...and said forget this...took it over and parked it in the covered parking garage. It was bad yesterday...but it is worse today...blowing a lot here in Lima now. Oh well, hot cocoa and popcorn and movies sound great for a lazy snowed in Sunday.

You're absolutely right about it being bad if you forgot something at the store. The Meijer's store here, yesterday, must have had 1/2 of Maumee in it. LOL I've never seen so many people in that store, ever. (We live in the southern part of Toledo.) It is pretty, but the ice is wicked...mainly because it's under the snow and you can't see it. After falling in the road when I walked to the store, I know about it first hand. And all I could do was laugh at myself, but I am staying in after that. |

It is 70 degrees here in Florida-I almost need my winter coat. LOL! Sorry-guys-but somebody has to live here.

SexyKlp4U: LOL I'm so used to snow that I doubt that I could live anywhere without it. It's funny how everyone is so different. Cool, too. so true..same with me..used to hot weather..i'm thin blooded. I couldnt handle anything under 45degrees i think.

It warmed up here in Cleveland and now all is melting and slushy...mmmm, I'd like an orange Slushee right now. It's supposed to go back to snow later on and get pretty nasty. I Just hope we get enough to take my daughter to the local sledding hill.

It's been snowing here in Buffalo since last night I think we're well over 2 feet now....Its not that cold ...the kids have been in & out of it all day..."Me"...well I took one walk in it and I'm done!
Last night the stores were mobbed ...between Xmas shopping & stocking up for the big storm..weather is predicting about 4 or 5 feet. |
