ok... i just got BIG time jumped at work cause the boss is angry that his new Store is NOT up and running on schedule, so he and his Pit Bull Manager came to our store to take it out on us.... and decided to just make it me instead....

Why do we take out our anger on others? I am trying NOT to start snipping at everyone else but its hard... any suggestions on how to be nice today?

Some people are just like that. It's their way of feling good about themselves. You can either grin and bear it or tell him (if you feel your job is safe) that mutual respect wil help the job go by a lot faster and more productively. I wouldn't say a thing if you think your job would be at risk. If that's the case hope he learns to treat others better, quickly. Good Luck! :)

There are too many ways to be nice for me to write here..............but hopefully you stood your ground and had some good answers while they were ripping you.
Most of the time that is the best way to make an egotistical boss, manager, owner or what have you, see just what kind of an idiot he or she is making of themselves.
I tried this the last time the "company a-hole" did this to me and a few minutes later he came in to my office and apologized.
Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't but you just may earn their respect.

sorry about the pit bull remark...

He only answers to the Corp. office, but he owns the stores....

i just took offense that he felt the need to change rules and policies because he is mad at the contractors. I guess i just have to roll with the punches and remember that i am a bigger person and not pay it forward. I will not take out my anger on other people
