Still not feeling great sadly although yesterday I did manage to eat a slice of toast and half an apple. One good thing is I’ve managed to lose the weight I put on during all the lockdowns haha. I’m suffering with a kidney infection and one of the symptoms is loss of appetite so that makes sense as to why I can’t eat. I’m still alternating between sweats and chills; thankfully not as much. Ohh Di, it was because of that.. worried to hear this.. could understand that sudden lose of weight might have also caused weakness and drowsiness.. Hope you feel better soon n praying that the healing comes your way through the right medicines advised for the cure.. Sending you my warm care n I'm missing your presence around me always.. Ah, so you're body's still fighting off infection. I didn't know that came with loss of appetite! I hope you will bounce back soon! If I'm correct almost a week now. Others have missed her as well. I was thinking she was taking a well-deserved break after years of moderating. Would be silly to assume people are ill when they aren't on Mingle. Happens all the time. Some come back, others don't.

Happens all the time. Some come back, others don't. True, but when you are aware someone was ill very recently, you do assume rightly or wrongly, maybe they have not recovered completely. I do hope we see her again in the forums soon.

I do hope we see her again in the forums soon. I do hope so too, but almost 3 months have gone by since she was ill and she did recover and was very active in the forums when recovered. I'm thinking she needed time away from a more than fulltime job as mod here for a long time. If not mistaken we don't see Soufie much if at all anymore either. Good for them. They've given a helluva lot to keep this place decent for a long time, same for Kristi. Kudos to them, and respect, and if they're enjoying a helluva lot more time off now, good for them!
