You brought to the Surface Anguish I pushed Away Ever protecting the Girl Who was Petrified To Relive To Remember. Ashen faces Stings Echoing silence Nothingness. Emotional Abandonment More echoing Silence. Closed doors Closed eyes Closed fists so Tight White knuckles In Hindsight. Strength of you Dives Deeper Dives into Blackened Murky waters. Pulling entangled Masses Void of Everlasting. To the very surface From Yesteryear. Where I stood In front of You. In all My glorious Vulnerability Rawness Nakedness. Waiting for You. Strength of you Scared me. Enticed me. Challenged Me. To be More Of who and What I Am. Of what and Who You Are. Your Strength To My Gentleness. 24 August 2022

That's an awful lot to say in so few, yet powerful words. Harkens me back to time when I found I need to take space to take care of me. Take care little one. Time will heal.
