Sorry to burst your bubble Slim and perhaps everyone else's, but that romance you speak of is full of hot air... perhaps there was a bit of wishful thinking, on both our parts. But, Mike and I are friends, actually more like kindred spirits! Sometimes a strong spiritual connection is confused with, or mistaken for, a romantic connection. Truth is, everyone... I postponed the meet up! Mike gallantly took the blame so not to embarrass me, such a noble gesture, he's a true sweetheart! Getting into a relationship right now, for me, would be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire! It's only been a few months since I left a very odd, particular relationship of four years... even though we didn't become a couple until the last six months of it... it was significant enough that I need to, and choose to, take time being single for a while, before entering into another serious relationship. So, there you have it... The only match for me, at this time, is myself. I'm taking time to explore me a little more, enjoy the freedom of having my own place, rediscovering the many blessings in life, and seeing where that path leads me. And perhaps go on a date or two... I am open to dating, just nothing more at this time! |
