I take chewable fiber tablets. They prevent hard bowel movements no matter what time it is.

Well, morning wood is a real phenomenon, but I wouldn't try to set it on fire.

Sarim… as far as sexual arousal is concerned .. genitals do not function on a set time schedule . Your body /mind will respond to pleasuring environmental stimuli . (Sometimes at inappropriate times /situations) . However It is not surprising that nighttime relaxation , free from the stress of the day can be a trigger for your genitals to party . Hope that answers your question . waving

I disagree, I don't know anything about midnight hardness, but I do know morning wood is a real thing and there isn't any stimuli needed for that, it just happens. blushing

devo are you sure you didn’t brush up against a pillow and your subconscious dream state went into overdrive . Stimuli can refer to neuronal and chemical influences . There is still so much unknown about our mind processes during sleep ., although we have the potential to recall dreams that is not always the case . Can you honestly say what your mind was processing throughout the entire night (segments maybe). Perhaps merry was quietly tiptoeing through your mind as you transitioned from deep to light sleep . waving

If you like devo …We could ask sarim to clarify if he was awake or asleep and what he was doing beforehand  .. but that would be opening up a can of xrated worms . I don’t want to go there lol :joy:

well cat .. once again .. you are wrong about me  I try to respect the forum rules .. which is not always easy with topics such as this . To be fair He asked a reasonable question but one that could easily go off the pg13 track . I am not going to apologise for my confidence when it comes to sexuality or challenging topics . You however , may want to rethink making personal statements about me that do not contribute to the discussion . waving

That would make sense and be easily explainable if that's how you (men) woke up every morning but that's not the case. You can be pouring a cup of coffee thinking about what you have to do that day and boom, there it is. There typically isn't delayed reaction in that regard.

Maybe it is the coffee !!!! After all it is very rich in polyphenols that pump up testosterone . biggrin

And of course you are referring to conscious thought ….thinking about your day .. But there is also subliminal /subconscious stimuli .

Alternatively it could simply be a chemical reaction… very much like the fight/flight response that releases adrenaline and glucose , diverts blood to vital organs and makes the heart pump faster . There are similar feedback loops controlling testosterone /hormonal levels and blood flow to reproductive organs . The body is in a constant state of maintaining equilibrium .. that includes sexual function /hormonal balance . Fluctuations in testosterone can happen for many reasons and may be the cause .

I'm not buying that, if the subconscious was the case than it would most likely happen throughout the day. But it doesn't. If coffee was that much of an aphrodisiac men would be drinking it 24-7.

I am just teasing you devo . The likely cause is testosterone fluctuations . However , can’t completely rule out the influence of other stimuli waving every man is unique .

:joy::joy: Not saying that's when it only happens, but just as a ritual, in the morning, don't know what the hell the OP was talking about, which I stated, just saying there doesn't seem to be any stimuli involved. Was that a run on sentence?
