good idea but any deep thoughts supress

Rating someone is ignorant. Everyone's taste is subjective. Its like
the people on American Idol, some people don't know they stink and are
happily oblivious to it until someone mean like Simon points it out. Or
like the movie "Mean Girls" with the Slam Book--it can be mean spirited.
I feel this site should be above that!

In response to the 'hot or not' feature:

Listen, anything that can help you guys add critical mass, go for it.
As a longtime craigslist user who is truly frustrated by their
unwillingness or inability to improve their software, I can tell you
that I would give anything to track:

* How many people have read my profile;

* How many people have bothered to provide an opinion on it;

--and--

* What the breakdown is of the votes. (e.g., percentage saying 'hot',
percentage saying 'not' divided by men, women, by age range, etc.

THAT would be awesome.
