I do put them down when I'm done yes. It's amazing how easy something is to do once you commit it to habit.

It used to stay up all the time but a few live in girlfriends later, I'm starting to get housebroken so it gets put back down for the most part!

nah...no big deal to me. :P And I keep lysol handy wipes under the sink just in case...I have a 7 yr old boy who doesn't aim so well in his sleep and a 2 yr just learning how to make that thing work...in the eternal scheme of things...it really doesn't matter if he lifts the seat or not...hit or miss....just always seemed like such a petty thing to argue about imho
