Not "from there" perse..but still have family there (Biddeford) and summered there (Fortunes Rocks) every year as a child/young adult. I still visit as often as I can.
It's an amazing and magical state...and one that will always hold my heart and soul in the palm of her hand.

I'm a shower person.
one thing I liked about Maine was the seafood. But it was bitterly cold in the winter and Hiya Jess

Funny that...I'm a shower person too. I HATE baths actually.
Maine is THE place for scrumptious and fresh seafood, eh?

I was at Bath Iron Works helping build a Navy cruiser. It snowed so much that the ship was bottoming out on the bottom of the river from the the weight of the snow
bit its really pretty in the fall when the leaves change and the people are super nice (but they talk funny, aye) |

Maine in October is about as good as it can get. And without a hard frost there is still a lot of green to show against the fall colors.
Yes it does snow, and it does get cold. You dress for it and deal with it. An easy trade off to live here. |
