Topic: Have you ever felt ugly?

For about the first 30 years of my life i thought i was ugly. I gained confidence from being online on a similar site to this one, when for the first time in my life i actually started to get some attention from the opposite sex, and started recieving compliments to the contrary. I then met my current girlfriend who obviously does find me attractive, and now i believe i am attractive to a certain level.

Dan basically summed it up for me too. I will add that I grew up as a "Heavyset" guy, and was always the "funny, friend" to girls...but never the guy who actually got the girl. Got married, and then lost weight, and then got divorced. Yeah...that was good for my self esteem level. But I came on this site and actually got looks from women, and even to this day I still don't see why. But now I feel sexy, to a point, and with all the friends I have made on here (and plus meeting my lady on this site) I do feel that I am "not ugly like I felt I was.". |

I used to feel ugly all the time, so I finally got rid of the a-hole that kept telling me I was ugly. I feel much better now.

I saw a caveman once. He was coming out of Menards and it looked right at me. I'm pretty sure he wasn't too happy to be there.

Humm actually no I have never felt ugly. Now I have felt like at times I don't measure up to what others are looking for. For many of them want someone that is thinner or even younger. But ugly nope.
To me one that is average with a great personality can outshine the most beautiful ones that have nothing going for them but their looks. |
