Hey there, I realize i have a low post count, so i'm no longtime user with tons of time on THIS forum but, I do have a lot of time in forums in general. I have a few little Perks I have enjoyed on other forums and would enjoy here as well.

First: The name of the Quoted poster in the quote window cascade.
Like this:

Quote : Bill


   Quote : Joe


      Quote : Sam


         Quote : Lucy

The quote code to it would be used like this:

[quote : Username]

Secondly I would like to suggest is possibly a "Post by this Member" feature. The idea is you match someone then you can look up some of their posts to get a better understanding on possibly some of their views or other wise unmentioned quirks and interests.

Lastly, I'd like to see something in the message composition screen.Maybe a toolbar for the BBC codes.

PS. A way to nullify code from working just so you can show someone an example so I can tell a noob how to adjust font size. Right now i don't know if there is a way to do it.

If you put it in as you have it: [quote : name] - it takes out the formatting and it all looks the same as an ordinary post... perhaps just putting in the poster's name, as I have done.

Wouldn't this be a "tip" - not a perk?

No I'm suggesting it as a feature that would be nice to see implemented. I know it doesn't work I was suggesting how my idea would be used.

These are great suggestions, especially the quote feature. We'll look at adding that as soon as we can.

You can already view previous posts made by any member. Just click on the post count number under their photo on any post they've made. We're planning on making this more accessible as part of their profile, but for now, this will provide you the information you're looking for.

Finally, we are working on a graphical text editor so that you won't have to type in the codes any more

I agree with you. I do it myself manually. I like seeing who made the original post so I know who I am replying to.
