Super Metroid for SNES.... those were the days! I still remember the music, I loved it!
And then Metroid Prime for Gamecube. 2nd Best Game Ever. I didn't go to my class in college, instead I went and bought a Gamecube with Metroid Prime and played it for months, then sold the gamecube and the game when I could just play it with my eyes closed.

My personal favorite game of all time is Frequency. Got to the point where I would play through it every day after school. Classic gameplay and loads of great unknown artists. And it spawned Guitar Hero which was cool before it became a cash cow. |

Farcry (The Original, of course, not the "2" travesty).

I forgot to mention Operation Flashpoint 1985. That game had an AI better than everything I have played so far and it was just so realistic and open do whatever game, I had it on my hard drive for many years, reinstalled it numerous times. I would repeat the same mission 10-15 times to figure out new ways. No other game can do this well, even today. I served in the army, and I think OFP is the best representation of the real war in cyberspace.

I'll have to go with the original DOOM (1993). No other game has blown me away like Doom did. I owe it my addiction to first person shooters (FPS).

GRID is one of my all-time favorite racing-oriented games. If only they made a similar game but in a city setting.
Fallout 3 is another favorite, as is Prey, and Dead Space. |

Grand Theft Auto IV of the PC. We are currently having problem with people cheating with modified files in multiplayer - since there is no 3rd party dedicated servers, but it is still an awesome game to kick out some stress you are having in your life. Especially competitive deathmatch modes.

Crysis uses the Crytek game engine with interactive enviroment, and the scenes were actual photos take in North Korea. The game is one of the best FPS games I have ever played.
