the cool thing is that anyone can use the toolkit to develop their own persistent world...tons of servers, each with a different ruleset, depending on the authors wishes.

Sounds interesting- too bad I am glued to the WoW matrix atm. 4 years going and strong- I have developed too many relationships with cool people to walk away at this point, plus I love the cultural diversity the game provides with players from all over.

i feel you. i've played NWN for four years now...and i adore the role-play and interaction. played WOW for a few months, and i didn't get that same feeling, even though i was on a so-called role-play server. that's why i quit...not enough real interaction, just a bunch of folks running around and farming.

that, and i don't have to pay a monthly fee for NWN.

I probably would had quit WoW if it was acompanied with Ventrilo, I like to chat with people the whole time I am online, otherwise I'd pass out on my keyboard.

I wish I had the time to manage that many toons! lol I have 2 at the moment. One Tauren Warrior lvl 38 and my newest toon a Dreanie Warrior lvl 46 and counting. Totally newb when I started my Tauren, no idea what to do with talent points or what stats I should be getting with gear.... there's a ton to learn. My next toon will be a rouge... not sure what race yet. Ohhh and I know I'm gonna sound like a million other people in the game, but I'm gonna make a DK when I get to lvl 55. =) Imma Dork!

Call of Duty. The online play is so robust and realistic, and the glitches are at a minimum.

Didn't mind making $2K off the deal either, 500 bucks per account . . . sadly if you figured out the $/hr is was not a good deal, but I had fun so you have to factor 4 years of fun in there and somehow I feel like I did ok.

ill tell ya... i love a good rts... and ive been playing halo wars lately. pretty good stuff, but it bears much resemblance to my all-time most played game ever - starcraft.

i love starcraft and wish blizzard would stop wasting time with WOW and get starcraft going again. it was waaaaaaay better than warcraft.

id have to say i was addicted to wizards and warriors, now it would have to be half life
