bread sliced into 4 long pieces dipped in milk & egg batter. Put in buttered pan and sprinkle with cinnamon. My little girl loves these french toast sticks with powdered sugar.
I don't like french toast  but I'll make it for anyone.

That's exactually the same way we make it here & the only way kids eat it alot i can't stand it.

Has anyone ever had stuffed French toast? A friend from university mentioned she did this and I have always meant to try it. Any suggestions for what to use for the filling?
I don't really have a favorite way to make it. I like all of the ways I've tried so far. We usually serve fresh fruit on the side. |

Here's a recipe for stuffed french toast that we love: Use cinnamon raisin bread and fill with cream cheese; just make a thin sandwich. Cut diagonally, dip each half in egg mixture, brown on both sides. Can be served with just a sprinkle of powdered sugar or maple syrup. It's delicious! |

Haha I thought I was the only one that didn't like it! Funny how that's how you make it too!! They say great minds think alike  Give me cream of wheat any day over french toast and oatmeal.

I found hot pepper jelly and jalapeno jelly in my local supermarket |

I like to sub in blueberry bunt cake for the bread or use french bread but deep fry vs. a griddle.
