Don't know a whole lot about Mexico aside from the drug cartel seems to be abundant over there. I don't dislike Mexico...but I don't think I'm really in any position to like/dislike the country as I've never really been there (aside from some hops over the border in Texas to get some cheap but really, really good Tequila...).

I found it interesting that their older parents were eating cacti for their diabetes. I learned many things about the wonderful culture and had many delicious meals with them. |

The only trip I technically took into Mexico was WAAAAY back in 1997-
I was working a TV show in Chula Vista, CA when a bunch of us decided to take a trip to Tijuana on our free time. They kept telling me that it was gonna be "fun, dude" and the rest of it. So we took a vehicle and drive out there. I got about as far as ten footsteps into town when I turned tail and headed back to the border- needless, I wasn't all that enthused with my trip to TJ in the least.
