Today my neighbor tells me that the police came to my house yesterday when I wasn't home. I was at the grocery store at the time.
So...I call the police to find out why they came to my home. They said that a 911 call was made from my home. Nobody spoke. It just rang. The call happened at 8:22 and they arrived at my house at 8:23. Wow, that was fast!! They rang my doorbell. Of course, there was no answer. They called my phone and it was busy. The neighbor told them that my car was gone and I wasn't home. I explained to them how I wasn't home and that there was nobody in my house to make that call. I don't think that the dog was THAT smart.
They asked me a bunch of questions. They asked if my house was haunted. They told me to call my phone company and tell them what happened.
That is just too weird.

Ooooh!
Maybe a ghost from the past was calling the police. Eek! Nah, but still. That is pretty weird for a call to be made from your house...and no one was there (besides the dog).

Be careful, it could have been a 'foreshadowing' event.

Or maybe someone tapped into your phone lines somehow?

you might want to call the phone company, they may have an incorrect address in their database for your phone number. could be important in the future, for when you call 911 and they go to someonelse's house......

I think the wrong address is the best theory but who knows.

That could happen even if I've had the same number for 10 years? The phone company is the same company that I get the internet from, btw. |

Ohhhhhhhhhhh I got one better for you had the cops wake me up from a dead sleep said they had a 911 call from my house nothing but static. They called the number back but all it did was ring no answer. Hummmm I was amused asked them the number the call came from they proceeded to tell me the number ect.
Now here is the real kicker the number they gave me was in fact my number but............it was the last number I had like 2 years prior I had my land land phones taken out and had not even had a phone connected in my house for over 2 years. Weird thing is even by reverse check up on that number and it still had it belonged to me even the phone company was baffled. Well it ended up the Police Officer that came to my house kind of shook his head and said this is really strange are you sure there is not a phone connected that was forgotten. I assured him there was not one phone connected. Ohh and this actually happened twice never did figure it out.
My daughter use to swear there was a ghost at times lol

I should have described this better ... it's likely someone else has your address listed under their number -- if you explain this to the phone company they should be able to research this and get it worked out... so it could have been someone called 911, but the police showed up at your address - because the dialer has the wrong entry...

if in fact your house is haunted here's what you do. Walk around the house with out a shirt on and DEMAND that the spirit make the walls bleed elves blood for 100 years non stop. That should freak the spirit out and fetch the response you want. |
