I write because
I’ve got the need To bleed and it’s oh So messy To mar and scar Someone’s floor Especially When they’ve Taken such pains To keep it Clean Sterile Undefiled Pristine …. And I’m Such … …a messy girl… My mind constantly In a whirl A mental Hemophiliac In an anemic world … Bleeding out Emotions Sullied Tainted Septic In a world Overcome With uncaring Antiseptic Thinking… I write because The look in my eyes Would never disguise The wounds I hide behind My words Scattered Behind me Baited breath Left as a Lure for The curious To follow … My own little Trail of Mystery … I write because I’m taking My stand My fist held high Screaming THIS is who I am ...THIS is who I’ve been .....THIS is who and what I want to be So if you can’t Take me With all my Tears Fears Smiles And sorrows Than Don’t … …take me… ……at all… NOW you know Why I write … Feb 14 2009 <<<------reaching out and taking Tammy's hand. I cannot ask for that which Im not willing to give myself, yes?
