Am having difficulty with Firefox access websites. It either takes a long time or get a "server not found" message. Anyone else having problems with 3.5.2?

The latest builds of FF evidently have some on-going issues with their stability and stuff. It might take a while for all the bugs to get ironed out.

Yep, according to Autodesk, I had to get it to download AutoCAD. Haven't noticed any serious problems with is since I used it for all of about an hour, but wasn't really especially pleased with it or anything. Think I'll stick to my good ol' fashioned Internet Explorer 7...haven't even upgraded to 8 yet. Does sticking with the old programs and things that always worked for me in the past mean I'm getting old?

Might try that. Their solution for using Kapersky is out of date. Know they want to reinforce the security...but please don't send out an upgrade until it works correctly.

Unfortunately, Mozilla is the worst when it comes to releasing updates before everyone is ready. But it's better than taking forever to release updates (which is the case with Micro$oft), I guess.

I upgraded my Firefox yesterday, no problems whatsoever.
It's running even slightly faster than the older version. Don't know about Yahoo and Firefox though. Yahoo used to freeze it for me all the time, or even made Firefox crash, so I got rid of Yahoo, no problems since. |

Won't go into my feelings about Norton.

I havent had any problems with it at all mozilla and firefox are the same thing . I don't understand ! ! ! To the thread, sometimes it is prudent to have the isp 'renew your ip address' - sounds like something flaky on the pole, however, sometimes cable splitters go bad, like, if one is going to the modem and also to the tv. best to have a dedicated line when possible.

Haven't noticed any issues here, but I did run cc cleaner and do some other maintenance this AM as well. All seems to be working just fine.
