Hey there, May I suggest that you have an AUTO De-ACTIVATE for accounts that have not been on in over a month, that will let the user re-activate if they come back.

I've noticed going through the people near me searches, 8 out of 10 are last seen over a month ago.

Thanks Charles, the key would have to be those that actually do not log in, not the ones in stealth mode, but I assume the server can track logins rather than online or stealth mode.

I absolutely agree. It is very frustrating to find a profile of someone who meets everything you are looking for to find out they have not been on in over a month. Also it would help with issues of the server being bogged down, if the system automatically deactivated those whose accounts are inactive for so long.

So Charles, any way they can make this happen?

I agree but not after a month. Very soon i wont hardly be logging onto this site very often but i want my account to stay active.

All you'd have to do is hit reactivate if you miss the month.. your account would still be here.

There are a few people that only occasionally log on here to speak just to me. If they came and my profile was gone, they would probably leave too.

Or maybe i would want my profile to stay up because i have some alternative contact information in there.

You should beable to search and not have to trawl through the old profiles, but i disagree with your suggestion.

Maybe make the search able to let you decide how recent that person was on like a dropdown with a week two weeks etc... so you don't get 500 people that have been on one time.

Unless the person is in stealth mode (hiding whether or not you're online) you can see when they last logged on. It's near what they're looking for, man looking for woman for friendship, for example.

That would work or add in the search for "last online"
