In a straight out brawl, no super powers, which deity would reign supreme? For this exercise we'll include mythological figures as well considering their impact on modern religion.
So... any bets? |

That legitimately made me laugh out loud. Props. Good choice, too.

There is actually a new board game out which has you play different g-ds trying to conquer the world, I read a review of it in either the Humanist or Free Thought magazines. It is supposed to be hilarous.

No super powers? So, we are basically talking about the biggest and the strongest? What about weapons? Can they use weapons? Like a slingshot. I'm thinking of David and Goliath. Not that they were deities, but a smaller guy beating a bigger guy. So, can they have weapons?

Cthulhu has the experience edge, that's for sure. He was around before anything else was. My money is on the Christian God though, as he has been making 10% of everyone's (of his followers anyway) income tax-free, for eons. He could just buy whatever physical training insanity he needed to train up for the fight. |

So... any bets? well generally Gods use threats to force lesser lifeforms to do the fighting for them ...but in a straight out brawl with no super powers, I would have to go with "The Trinty God" because one of those three gods can fight for six days and on the seventh day it can rest and then one of the other two gods can take it place and fight for another six days and then be replaced on the seventh day with the third god....with this type of tag team the trinty god can fight for an eternality |

Space Godzilla of course!
What is this post doing in General Religion Chat? Do people actually worship H.P> Lovecraft's character Cthulhu? I know.........stupid question. Of course they do. Have you considered devoting your life to Mothra? I know Mothra likes to be worshipped. GOD (the only one) bless. |

The reality is is that ALL gods die at the end of ragnarok and that is final! |

perhaps "Shiva" the Hindu god with eight arms ...in a fight Shiva has enough extremities to place an arm or foot exactly where the sun don't shine ..well considering if the god that Shiva fights has such places
