To me it's just a contract, seal the deal with paper crap. If true love prevails the contract is not needed to show that.
If I am in love...you can keep that ridiculous piece of paper |

marriage can be a great thing....or a nightmare...but the decider is not marriage, its the two people involved....i will say desolving a marriage is harder than just kicking him out.. wld i do it again?? today the answer is hell no...but next year it might be yes...

Speeds up the failure rate in a relationship, theoretically useless, I won't be getting married ever. I don't agree with the practice, it is flawed both statistically and logically, if I love someone my word should do them well enough without a petty contract or pathetic ring.
I know...I'm the romantic type... |

FOR ME,,,Marriage is a lifetime bond that involves a man and woman who cherish love and respect each other and who agree to include and honor God and His model for marriage.
I think it fails because people usually are more selfish in their motivation and always have the eye open for someone else who is strong wherever their partner is weak. I think people also dont take into account whether the relationship has enough to build upon for a lifetime and whether their partner shares the same ideas about being a spouse or parent and a responsible committed adult. People also arent honest with themselves about compatibility. I know I have twice overlooked how strong a role God played (or didnt) in my partners lifestyles and choices. If I had the chance, I would pay closer attention to that the next time myself. |
