I view sex as very important in a relationship. I mean, if she sucks in the sack, then no amount of awesome cooking will balance it out. So therefore, being the nympho that I am, I say 10 to the 10th power.

Sex is the penultimate reason why we are here. I'd rank it just below having enough air, water, food and shelter.

Id say about a 7. It should be great when we have it, but the relationship should be just as great without having it at all if the relationship is built on the right things. With a great friendship, there are many ways to express love, be intimate, without actual sexual penetration. Cuddling , hugs, kisses, fondling, and at least a half dozen things can be every bit as satisfying to me with someone that I love who loves me back.

Sex is the reason for a relationship (in the context it's usually used in this forum). Love and all the rest of that stuff is just evolution's way of high jacking our brains long enough to get us to pass on our genes.

Utterly useless to me, I like foreplay better. Sex is really only useful in breeding, whereas I won't have children...it is therefore pointless.

Oh, and sex has nothing to do with evolution. Sex has to do primarily with off-spring as far in as it goes with evolution, evolution deals with adaptation to surroundings and the learning curve for survival...neither of which pertain to sex.

It probably depends on how important the relationship is. I knew a guy who claimed he and his wife no longer slept together, so obviously it was no longer important to them. Then again, he was a cheating prick so it was just wasn't important to him at home.

In order for sex to be a 10-foreplay has to be involved. For me, a very important part to a relationship.

While it's not my highest prioity in relationships, the importantance of how you handle it is definitely a 10 for me.

LOL You need to go back and read your Darwin. There is a whole branch of evolution called sexual selection to explain things like peacocks tails.

There's no really wrong answer...one person's 7 might be another's 10 But, for me...it's MY 10...and a strong sex drive, when matched with a strong sex drive...tends to be a very good thing!
